Project Life for Tennessee
Since the 1973 Roe vs. Wade decision, more than 60 million unborn children have died in U.S. abortions. Equally sad and appalling, there are more than 13,000 abortions in Tennessee each year… 35 per day on average… more than one innocent life lost an hour.
But one thing we know: when a pregnant woman contemplating abortion sees an ultrasound and hears the heartbeat of her unborn child, 86% of the time, she chooses life!
Unfortunately, many women won’t or can’t go to a crisis pregnancy center. So, what if we took this ultrasound technology to them… in the form of a mobile ultrasound unit… tied to a crisis pregnancy center… and staffed with medical and counseling support? THAT will impact the life equation. THAT can help women make an informed decision that will hopefully give life and not end it.
That’s what we do.
Project Life for Tennessee raises funds to purchase and place mobile ultrasound units with crisis pregnancy centers in Middle Tennessee and surrounding areas. Through Project Life’s partnerships, many free ultrasounds have already been provided… resulting in lives saved!
And one other important statistic associated with our work: Nationally, of those women who receive an ultrasound, on average 30% go one step further to receive Christ as their personal Savior! This is truly life-giving work.
