Who We Are

Helping Hands is a division of the Tennessee Action Council, a 501(c)(3) fully tax-exempt organization located in Franklin, TN.

Our Goal

When children are placed in foster care in Tennessee, their personal belongings are often placed in plastic garbage bags. Helping Hands provides attractive, heavy-duty duffle bags to DCS so that the child's personal effects can be gathered and handled respectfully, demonstrating that the child is valuable.

Project Life for Tennessee is a division of the Tennessee Action Council, a 501(c)(3) fully tax-exempt organization located in Franklin, TN.

Our Goal

To lease mobile ultrasound units to organizations, such as pregnancy centers, in Tennessee and Kentucky. Ultrasound technology helps these centers more effectively show women with unintended pregnancies that they have far more positive choices for their future - and the future of their child - than they might think.
We make this easier by purchasing a mobile unit and leasing it to each organization, saving the centers the cost of a new mobile ultrasound unit which runs $100,000+.
